Zoe Zag

Zoe Zag is a Los Angeles-based artist who grew up around Venice Beach, working across painting, photography, prints, set design, and zines under a punk-derived visual language. Her archive, Cry Tuff, gathers these projects into an ongoing record.

Her work has crossed into music and fashion: she designed cover art for FIDLAR's album TOO and contributed to the art direction surrounding Sia's "Chandelier" video, alongside collaborations with clothing designers and musicians in the Los Angeles scene.

Zag has described punk less as a musical style than as an attitude of saying and feeling exactly what one wants, an ethos reflected in the raw, collage-like character of her visual output.
