Zander Raymond

Zander Raymond is a Chicago-based multi-disciplinary musician and artist working across composition, improvisation, and live sampling. His practice draws on jazz, avant-garde, and electronic music traditions, employing an improvisational approach with imaginative filtering and real-time processing. He has released approximately a dozen albums over the past decade, including Secrets from a Squirrel (Florabelle), To Have Several Lives, and no one notices the fly (2025), on which French Door appears. He has collaborated with Lia Kohl on In Transit (Un Je Ne Sais Quoi). His work is part of an active experimental music community in Chicago.
