Young Boy Dancing Group

Young Boy Dancing Group is an international performance collective, formed in Paris in 2014, whose work explores identity, queerness, and collective action through irreverent, often extravagant live performances and videos. Led by Manuel Scheiwiller with close collaborators Maria Metsalu and Nicolas Roses, the group creates spectacles combining choreography, costume, pop cultural references, and political critique, operating between performance art and entertainment. Their structured improvisations draw on post-apocalyptic imagery, acrobatics, and DIY aesthetics to challenge heteronormative norms through camp and excess, with work presented at venues and biennials across Europe.
