Yellow Tears
Yellow Tears is an American noise trio formed on Long Island, New York, in 2005 by Frank Ludovico, Jeremy Nissan, and Ryan Woodhall, who bonded over a shared love of Swans, Whitehouse, and Wolf Eyes.
Their work spans death industrial, harsh noise, and sound collage, built from guitars, junk metal, electronics, and scatological vocal material. Releases include The Pissmop (2008), Don't Cry (2009, Hospital Productions), and The Cult of Yellow Tears (2010), alongside limited-run cassettes and a split with Ahlzagailzehguh.
Active for two decades, Yellow Tears are known for confrontational shows and a deliberately abject aesthetic within the harsh noise tradition.
