Yannick Franck

Yannick Franck is a Belgian sound artist, composer, and curator whose work spans electroacoustic composition, experimental electronics, sound poetry, and audiovisual environments. Drawing on themes of ritual, mythology, memory, and altered states, he creates densely layered sonic worlds blurring the line between music, performance, and installation. Franck is the founder of Brussels-based label Idiosyncratics, an outlet for experimental and underground sound practices. His projects combine voice, field recordings, analog and digital processing, and collaborative research. Through recordings and curatorial activities, he has built a practice centered on listening as transformative experience.
