William Eglite

William Eglite, formerly known as William Kudahl, is a Danish artist and writer working across sound, video, text and installation. His practice explores what is worth recollecting from everyday life, using audio, diary entries and images to trace overlooked temporal narratives. His piece Faergetid, made for the Struer Tracks festival, observed a two-minute ferry crossing between Kleppen and Veno island, following two ferrymen's long friendship through slow, sustained images. His 2025 work The Wind is Reading, shown at Lydgalleriet in Bergen and Momentum 13 in Moss, used wind moving through books as a study of impermanence, alongside his book of the same name, published by Arkhest.
