Wilfrido Terrazas

Wilfrido Terrazas is a Mexican composer, flutist, improviser, and curator whose work spans contemporary composition, experimental music, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Recognized for expanding the sonic possibilities of the flute through extended techniques, microtonality, and exploratory performance practices, he moves fluidly between composed and improvised forms. He has collaborated with composers, visual artists, and performers across the Americas and Europe, presenting at major festivals, museums, and venues. As both solo artist and ensemble performer, he investigates sound as material and spatial phenomenon, engaging questions of listening, perception, and cultural exchange.
