Werewolf Jerusalem

Werewolf Jerusalem is a solo harsh noise project of Texas-based musician Richard Ramirez, active since 2001 alongside his many other aliases including Black Leather Jesus. Across roughly two hundred releases on cassette, CDr, vinyl and CD for labels such as Nihilist Recordings and 4iB Records, the project favors dense harsh noise wall: static fields, crackling tape textures and grinding drone loops built for immersive, unbroken duration rather than dynamic event. Titles and covers frequently draw on horror and giallo cinema, occult imagery and B-movie dread, giving the abrasive material a recurring narrative undertow of nightmare and spiritual collapse.
