Warthog

Warthog is a New York City–based hardcore punk band whose uncompromising sound combines the speed and aggression of classic hardcore with a dense, riff-driven heaviness. Formed in the early 2010s, the group emerged from the city’s underground DIY scene and established a reputation for intense live performances. Drawing equally from punk, metal, and noise-inflected influences, they produce music that is direct, confrontational, and physically charged. Through acclaimed EPs on Katorga Works, Beach Impediment, Toxic State, and Static Shock, they have become a distinctive voice in contemporary hardcore while maintaining a fiercely independent ethos.
