Von Magnet

Von Magnet is a French experimental and industrial music project formed in the 1980s, led by Brendan Perry collaborator and multi-instrumentalist Xavier Boussiron alongside a rotating cast of collaborators. Working in industrial, dark ambient, and neo-folk territories, they have released on Les Disques du Soleil et de l'Acier and other French underground labels. Their music combines electronics, percussion, and acoustic instruments in dense, ritualistic compositions that engage with European dark traditions. They have been associated with the French industrial underground and with artists including Dead Can Dance.
