Vladislav Delay

Vladislav Delay is an alias of Finnish musician and producer Sasu Ripatti, born in 1976 in Turku. Under this name he developed a practice of micro-tonal electronic music, dub-influenced structures, and highly processed percussion released primarily on Mille Plateaux and Chain Reaction. Albums including Ele (2000) and Multila (2001) were central to the micro-house and abstract techno scenes of the early 2000s. He also records under the name Luomo, exploring more song-oriented electronic music, and as Uusitalo. He is based in Berlin and continues to release and perform internationally.
