Victoria Pham

Victoria Pham is an Australian interdisciplinary artist and evolutionary biologist based in Paris who holds a PhD in biological anthropology from the University of Cambridge, specialising in bioacoustics and acoustic mapping. Her sound practice weaves electronic composition, decolonial inquiry, and ecological listening, and she is represented by the Australian Music Centre as an Associate Artist. With artist James Nguyen she produced RE:SOUNDING, a project engaging the Vietnamese Đông Sơn drum that commissioned musicians globally and assembled an open-access library of fifty-one recorded drum sounds from the archive.
