Vatican Shadow

Vatican Shadow is the project of American musician Dominick Fernow, also known as Prurient, based in New York. Working under this alias from around 2011, Fernow produces dense, hypnotic techno and industrial club music that draws on post-9/11 geopolitics, war imagery, and Middle Eastern iconography for its visual and conceptual framework. Releases on Hospital Productions and other labels have been prolific, often arriving as cassettes, vinyl, and digital editions. The project operates at the intersection of dance music infrastructure and noise provocation.
