Vanity Productions

Vanity Productions is the solo project of Copenhagen musician Christian Stadsgaard, who also performs in the duo Damien Dubrovnik and co-runs the label Posh Isolation with his partner in that project, Loke Rahbek. Working through hardware noise electronics, tape manipulation and found everyday sound, Stadsgaard builds layered, chamber-like pieces that shade into ambient and trip-hop, often described as a Nordic strain of melancholic experimentalism; releases include Sky Split Open and Shadows of Sleep. His album The Vanity Project draws on social-media remnants, dark-web transmissions and untreated human sound. He has performed in Berlin at Urban Spree and Posh Isolation showcases.
