Valentina Vuksic

Valentina Vuksic is a Croatian-Swiss sound artist and musician based in Bern. Her practice explores the sonic properties of computer hardware — particularly hard disk drives, data buses, and other electronic components — as musical instruments, producing rhythmic, texturally complex works from the electromagnetic and acoustic emissions of computational machinery. She has performed and exhibited internationally and releases music on digital and physical formats that document her investigations into the inherent sonicity of computing infrastructure. Her work connects to the broader tradition of hardware hacking and circuit-bending while maintaining its own conceptual rigour.
