Ursula Bogner

Ursula Bogner (presented as 1946–1994) is a figure whose documentary status has been deliberately left ambiguous by the German musician and producer Jan Jelinek, who released her recordings posthumously on his Faitiche label in 2008 under the title Sowieso. The release was presented as the work of an amateur electronic musician — a pharmacist who had recorded experimental electronic music in her private studio from the 1970s to the early 1990s — and was accompanied by biographical materials and photographs that established a compelling and apparently plausible personal history.
