Tyhjä Pää

Tyhjä Pää is a solo noise project out of Oulu, Finland, active for over a decade within the city's Noiseränch scene of tape traders and basement shows. Its catalog favors blown-out, lo-fi harsh noise built for cassette and CD-r, with titles like Manifestation of Turmoil, High Magnetic Intensity and Prolonged Troubles In Concentration And Memory signaling an aesthetic of psychological unease and overload. The project regularly appears on multi-way splits alongside fellow Finnish noise acts Corral Shut, Residual and Haudat, and marked ten years of activity with a celebration at Oulu's Noise Ranch basement in October 2024, underscoring its place in the region's underground DIY circuit.
