Tulle Ruth
Tulle Ruth (b. 1962, Denmark) is a sculptor and sound artist based in Fredrikstad, Norway. Trained at the Bergen Academy of Fine Arts, Concordia University and the Royal Danish Academy's media art program, she builds installations that treat sound as sculptural material, drawing on field recordings, 3D audio and off-grid solar and wind power. In 2013 she founded Drive In of Sound Art, a roadside gallery where passing drivers park, roll down their windows and listen to curated sound works; the project has since toured over fifty artists across the Nordic region, alongside pieces like The Wind-powered Street Organ and TRACKS. She also works as an occupational therapist.
