Tirzah

Tirzah is a British musician and vocalist born in London. Working closely with producer and childhood friend Mica Levi, she makes intimate, fractured R&B and electronic music. Her debut album Devotion (2018) on Domino Records received wide critical recognition for its spare, disorienting approach to pop song forms. A second album, Colourgrade (2021), continued with greater abstraction. Her voice and Levi's production are inseparable elements of a shared aesthetic, and their collaboration extends across live performance and visual contexts. Basic Need is among the most emotionally concentrated tracks on Devotion.
