The Bug

The Bug is the primary solo project of Kevin Martin, a British musician and producer from Weymouth, Dorset. Active since the late 1980s across industrial hip-hop, dub, jazzcore, dancehall, and dubstep through projects including GOD, Techno Animal, and Curse of the Golden Vampire, Martin's work as The Bug — particularly London Zoo (2008, Ninja Tune) and Angels & Devils (2014) — established him as a central figure in UK bass music. He runs the Pressure label and leads King Midas Sound with Roger Robinson and Kiki Hitomi. Collaborators include Death Grips, Danny Brown, and Dylan Carlson.
