T.A.G.C.

T.A.G.C. (The Anti-Group Communications) is a UK experimental and industrial multimedia project founded in 1978 by Adi Newton — also of Clock DVA — and Steven Turner. The name references both the Anti-Group and the four nucleotides of DNA. The interdisciplinary collective explores psychoacoustics, ritual sound, ancient magic, and psychoactive frequencies across releases on Newton's Anterior Research Recordings label, including Digiteria, Teste Tones, and Meontological Research Recording. Active 1978–1996, Newton revived T.A.G.C. for live work from 2009.
