Sven Berg

Sven Berg is a German artist and sound practitioner based in Kassel. A student at Kunsthochschule Kassel, his practice since 2021 focuses on making sound visible through self-built machines and devices that generate a dynamic interplay between tones and visual forms. Working under the alias Monoyama, he has exhibited at BBK Kassel (documenta-Halle, 2023) with laser projections responding in real time to his audio compositions. His work engages with the Range Festival and explores solar energy as an artistic and ecological material.
