Sutekh

Sutekh is the alias of Seth Horvitz, a San Francisco-based electronic musician and visual artist. Working in abstract techno and experimental electronic music, he has released on Context, Graham Massey's Utter and other labels since the late 1990s. His albums Nitrate (2002) and Fell (2003) develop a precise, clinical style of minimal electronic music characterised by digital precision and an unusual approach to rhythm that positions him alongside Monolake and Wolfgang Voigt in the abstract techno tradition. He has also worked as a visual artist, producing moving-image work that accompanies and complements his music.
