Steve Moore

A New York-based multi-instrumentalist, Steve Moore co-founded the Pittsburgh synth-prog duo Zombi, whose music drew on vintage horror scores by Goblin and John Carpenter and proved influential in the later synthwave revival. His prolific solo work ranges across film composition, minimal techno, and disco: soundtracks include The Mind's Eye and Mayhem, both released on Relapse Records, while techno singles have appeared on Kompakt and L.I.E.S. He has also released disco material under the alias Gianni Rossi, including the 2011 album Burning Feeling, and provided remixes for Washed Out, Voivod, and The Melvins. All his film scores are composed and performed solely on synthesizers.
