Sonoscopia
Founded in Porto in 2011, Sonoscopia is a Portuguese cultural association dedicated to the creation, production, and promotion of experimental music, sound art, and their transdisciplinary intersections. Since its inception it has produced over 700 events, artistic projects, educational activities, and publications, with a presence across around twenty European countries as well as the United States, Japan, Lebanon, and Tunisia. Its venue on Rua de Silva Porto houses a dedicated concert hall, exhibition rooms for sound art, and an outdoor stage. Notable projects include the robotic orchestra Phobos and the Microvolumes concert series, which began in 2004.
