Socorro Alvizar Fajardo

A multi-instrumentalist and one-man band from Michoacán, Mexico, he performs as a solo ensemble combining harp, keyboards, and voice — an idiosyncratic setup that has made him a notable presence on the internet, where videos of his performances have circulated widely. He offers his services for weddings and public and private events, blending popular and Christian repertoire with karaoke elements into a highly personal form of regional folk entertainment rooted in the musical traditions of Michoacán, a state with a deep connection to the arpa grande — the large-format Mexican harp that has been a fixture of its rural and agricultural communities for generations.
