Slikback

Slikback is a Ugandan producer and DJ based in Nairobi, Kenya. Working across extreme club music, footwork, and industrial-adjacent electronic forms, his productions combine sub-bass weight, fragmented percussion, and a distinctly East African urban sensibility. He releases on Hakuna Kulala — the Kampala-based label that has been central to the Nyege Nyege collective — alongside international labels including Demdike Stare's DDS imprint. He has performed at Nyege Nyege Festival and internationally, and is one of the most distinctive voices in the current East African experimental club music scene.
