Siouxsie Sioux

Siouxsie Sioux (born Susan Janet Ballion in 1957, Chislehurst, Kent) is a British singer and founding member of Siouxsie and the Banshees, one of the most significant and influential bands in post-punk and goth music. Formed in 1976, the Banshees released a string of increasingly accomplished albums — from the debut The Scream (1978) through Kaleidoscope (1980), Juju (1981), and Tinderbox (1986) — that combined punk's energy with gothic imagery, complex rhythms, and a consistently innovative approach to rock production.
