Sergio Sánchez

A pioneer of noise in Mexico City, he launched the Ruido Horrible blog in 2005 as one of the first Spanish-language platforms dedicated to reviewing and documenting experimental and radical music, accumulating over five hundred reviews and interviews. The blog evolved into the Ruido Horrible label, releasing around eighty limited-edition productions spanning harsh noise, industrial, and sound experimentation. His solo project Heraldos Negros, begun in 2007 and named after a César Vallejo poem, centres harsh noise built from piezoelectric transducers, modular synthesis, magnetic tapes, and discarded objects. He also co-founded the noise group Amniosis in 2004.
