Seefeel
Seefeel are a British band formed in London in 1992, initially comprising Mark Clifford, Sarah Peacock, Justin Fletcher, and Daren Seymour. Their music layered processed guitar loops, minimal rhythms, and treated vocals into a sound that occupied the border between shoegaze, ambient techno, and electronic experimentation. Their debut Quique (1994) on Too Pure and subsequent releases on Warp brought them critical recognition. They anticipated drone and post-rock directions while remaining closely tied to dance music infrastructure. After a long hiatus, they reformed in 2008 and released Seefeel (2011).
