Sebby Kowal

Sebby Kowal is an American ambient and dub techno producer who began making music in 2021 after a brief stint studying sound engineering was cut short by his mother's death. Working largely in FL Studio, he builds tracks from single stretched sounds layered with field recordings. His blend of ambient warmth and dub techno's low end draws on Brian Eno's early records and the minimal productions of Deepchord. Releases including the Under the Trees EP and the album Details have appeared on labels such as ROHS!, Drift Deeper Recordings, and Chitra Records. He has said he wants listeners to feel calm, channeling memories of his late parents into gentle, textured sound.
