Sculpture

Sculpture is a British audiovisual duo consisting of Dan Hayhurst (sound and electronics) and Reuben Sutherland (video and visual design), based in London and Brighton. Since 2005 they have developed a distinctive audiovisual practice built around two interconnected inventions: the zoetropic picture disc — a vinyl record with printed imagery that animates under stroboscopic light as it spins — and a live performance method combining rapid-cut video collage with tape-loop electronics and live mixing.
