RYBN.ORG is a Paris-based extra-disciplinary collective founded in 1999. Their practice consists of an investigative methodology applied to the hidden logics of complex systems: high-frequency financial markets, algorithmic trading strategies, offshore banking networks, kabbalistic hermeneutics, digital labour, and computer viruses. Rather than representing these systems from the outside, RYBN.ORG produces devices — artworks, instruments, interventions — that infiltrate, contaminate, and operate within the environments they examine, generating resonances in social networks, financial markets, patent law, and the radio-electromagnetic spectrum.
