Ruhail Kaizer

A self-taught artist from Leh, Ladakh, his practice moves through sound art, analog photography, and experimental filmmaking, drawing on local memory, mythos, and poetics rooted in his remote homeland. Active across cross-genre projects since 2015, his early noise performances across India were noted as abrasive interventions in the underground circuit. His 2023 debut album Fatima, released on the label Danse Noire, draws on ambient, drone, noise, and power electronics to trace lived experiences in Ladakh, and is accompanied by a 48-page photo book. Collaborators on the release include Dis Fig and Elvin Brandhi.
