A musician, scholar, and curator based in Mexico City, she works at the intersection of avant-garde sound art, electronic music, and transmedial practice, with a focus on Mexico and Latin America. She studied piano before completing an MA in musicology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where her thesis examined Helmut Lachenmann's string quartet Gran Torso. She is currently a PhD candidate in musicology at UNAM, pursuing a cultural study of contemporary electronic and audio cultures through the life trajectories of Mexican electronic artists, drawing on ethnography, autoethnography, and oral history.
