Rian Treanor

Rian Treanor is a UK producer and computer musician working at the intersection of club culture and experimental sound design, building fractured, interlocking rhythmic systems from custom software. The son of glitch/IDM pioneer Mark Fell, he shares his father's interest in broken timbral structure but pushes it toward danceable territory informed by UK garage and footwork. After early EPs including A Rational Tangle and Pattern Damage on The Death of Rave, and Contraposition on Warp's Arcola imprint, he signed to Planet Mu for the albums Ataxia (2019) and File Under UK Metaplasm. In 2025 he returned with Body Lapse, an improvisation-driven collaboration with vocalist Cara Tolmie.
