Psychic TV

Psychic TV is a British multimedia project formed in 1981 by Genesis P-Orridge and Peter Christopherson following the dissolution of Throbbing Gristle. Functioning as the musical and ritual arm of the Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth, the group explored noise, industrial music, acid house, and hypnagogic pop across an enormous catalogue. Their work on Force the Hand of Chance (1982) and the Dreams Less Sweet (1983) sessions was formally adventurous; later releases pursued acid house under the guise of Psychic TV and Brian Jones Town Massacre. P-Orridge died in 2020.
