Pod Blotz

Pod Blotz is the project of American artist Vanessa Rossetto, based in Austin, Texas. Working across noise, power electronics, and industrial composition, her recordings explore physical and psychological extremity within a feminist and queer framework. Releases on her own Sullen Tone label and international noise labels document a practice of confrontational sonic intensity that engages with the body, labour, and pain as aesthetic and political subjects. She performs solo and in collaboration, maintains a connection to the noise underground, and also works in composition and improvisation contexts. Crow Tongue appears among her recordings.
