Pink Thistle

Pink Thistle is a harsh noise wall project based in County Wicklow, Ireland, working within the genre's tradition of static, monolithic drone built from looped feedback and overdriven signal chains rather than conventional rhythm or melody. Releases reference the surrounding Wicklow bracken and landscape, suggesting a practice rooted in place as much as in circuitry. The project has issued a substantial run of solo tapes and albums through Bandcamp alongside collaborations, including a joint work with saxophonist Colin Webster titled Entropic Ruin, and split releases with acts such as Permanent Interim and Sloughed, situating it within the wider UK and Irish underground noise scene.
