Pierre Pradier

Pierre Pradier is a French guitarist, improviser and composer who traded scientific studies at Université René Descartes for music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, training in classical and electric guitar, generative improvisation, and new technologies applied to composition. His practice moves between contemporary composition, free jazz and experimental rock, extending into performance, theatre and video. He plays in guitar quartet Timelapse and Franco-Italian ensemble FRANTX, and is affiliated with Lyon label Carton Records. A 2022-2024 residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris led to ongoing work with composer Manuel Hidalgo Navas.
