Pher

Pher is a music project releasing on Bedroom Community, the Icelandic label and artist collective founded by producer Ben Frost and Valgeir Sigurðsson. The Bedroom Community roster — which includes Nico Muhly, Sam Amidon, and Nadia Sirota — is known for music that integrates contemporary classical composition, electronics, and more personal song forms. Pher's contribution to the label engages with these values, working within an aesthetic of carefully produced, emotionally resonant music. Bedroom Community functions from Reykjavík as both an artist community and a recording facility.
