Perc

Perc is the alias of Ali Wells, a British electronic musician and label founder based in London. His music operates within techno but pursues extremity — distorted kicks, harsh noise, and abrasive textures placed within functional dance structures. He founded the Perc Trax label to release his own work and that of like-minded artists, and has released albums including The Power and the Glory (2014) and Bitter Music (2018). He is an important figure in the intersection of techno and industrial music in Britain, drawing on the legacy of UK rave and the aesthetics of post-industrial sound.
