Per Platou

Born in 1964 in Oslo, he is an artist, curator, musician, and producer who has been a significant presence in Norwegian and international media art since the 1990s. He is a permanent member of the theatre company Verk Produksjoner, with whom he has collaborated since 2003, and since 2016 has run Project Space Landers, an artist residency in the Mojave desert in California. He managed Videokunstarkivet, a Norwegian Arts Council-funded archive mapping video art produced in Norway since the mid-1960s. Earlier work includes the cyber-theatre piece M@ggie's Love Bytes, developed with artist Amanda Steggell.
