Payung Teduh

Formed in 2007 by two musicians who played together in the canteen of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at the University of Indonesia, the group blends folk, keroncong, and jazz into a sound defined by gentle melodies and poetic Indonesian lyrics. Founding vocalist Mohammad Istiqamah Djamad and bassist Comi Comi established the band's character before expanding the lineup. Their 2017 single Akad from the album Ruang Tunggu spread widely online and brought them national prominence. The group has since undergone changes in membership and continues performing under the name Parade Hujan.
