Parasite Nurse

Parasite Nurse is the solo experimental electronics project of New York-based artist Samantha Hernandez, active since 2019. Beginning with raw pedal-chain harsh noise, the project has expanded into cut-up electronics, Eurorack modular textures and brooding atmospheric drone, moving between punishing noise and nightmarish ambience. Releases include North Dumpling (2020), Caretaker (2022) and Life Is Beautiful (2023), alongside the Neglect tape on Cruel Symphonies, a split with Jeritan and a collaboration with JHK on Annihilvs Power Electronix. Hernandez performs regularly within New York's underground noise scene.
