Paola Torres Núñez del Prado
Paola Torres Núñez del Prado is a Peruvian multimedia artist working across sound, textiles, electronics, and artificial intelligence. Her practice explores the intersections of Andean textile knowledge systems — particularly the quipu, an Incan recording device of knotted cords — with computational and sonic methods. The AIELSON project used AI trained on the poetry of J.E. Eielson to generate and perform verse. She has exhibited and performed internationally and released recordings on Presses Précaires and Unexplained Sounds Group. Her work situates Indigenous epistemology and decolonial thought within contemporary artistic and technological practice.
