Pandora's Jukebox
Pandora's Jukebox is the alias of Yasmina Dexter, a sound artist and DJ who grew up in Ljubljana during the 1991 Ten-Day War before relocating to London as a teenager. Working by day as a fashion sound designer for houses including Fendi, Gucci, and Ferragamo, she builds her sets and mixes like hand embroidery, placing samples individually rather than looping patterns, drawing on field recordings, ASMR, and foley archives to construct hypnotic noir-dreamscapes across techno, bass, and abstraction. Since 2016 she has hosted Renegade Soundwaves on NTS, holds a residency at Cicciolina Paris, and has played Tate Modern's Turbine Hall and Berghain's main floor.
