Otto von Schirach
Born in Miami in 1978 to Cuban and German parents, he grew up in the Little Havana neighbourhood absorbing Miami bass, death metal, and Afro-Cuban music before buying his first electronic equipment at seventeen. He began releasing music on the Miami IDM label Schematic in 2001 with his debut 8000 B.C., followed by Chopped Zombie Fungus and Global Speaker Fisting. His hyper-kinetic live performances, involving masks and props, have included tours with Skinny Puppy, and he is credited on two Skinny Puppy albums, The Greater Wrong of the Right and Mythmaker.
