Oscar Mulero

Oscar Mulero (b. 1972) is a Spanish techno DJ, producer, and label founder, one of the most enduring figures in European underground techno. Emerging from the Madrid rave scene of the early 1990s, he founded the Warm Up label — releasing some of the darkest, most industrial techno from Spain — and developed a sound rooted in Detroit techno and Europe's harder electronic strains. His sets are marked by extreme attention to rhythmic architecture and texture, constructing dance floor experiences of unusual sustained intensity. He went on to found PoleGroup in 2004, a sister label for darker, industrial-leaning techno that has become one of Europe's most respected platforms for that sound.
