Nina García
Born in 1990 in Paris, García has worked between noise and improvised music since 2015 using a guitar, a pedal, and an amp. An electromagnetic pickup held in her right hand moves across the body and strings, producing growls, squeaks, and moans that push the instrument toward abstraction. Her album Bye Bye Bird, released on Ideologic Organ in February 2025, is her first record under her own name. She has performed with Fred Frith, Stephen O'Malley, and Leïla Bordreuil, plays in the improvisation ensemble Le Un, and forms the duo Autoreverse with Arnaud Rivière.
